" Rich chocolate brownie "

Tea time on food food channel sometimes shows very nice recipe. This rich chocolate brownie was so tempting that I can’t stop myself to bake on the same day. But if you are on a diet, please refrain yourself from this recipe and stop reading from here only. Rich chocolate brownie, as it is evident from the name that it involves chocolate, butter and eggs everything which is not good for weighing scale :P .

Ingredients

Dark chocolate – 1 cup (I used Morde)

Butter – 75 gms

Sugar – 1 cup

Eggs – 1 whole and 1 yolk

Cocoa Powder - ½ cup (I used Harshey’s one)

Milk – ½ cup

Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

Refined flour – 1 cup

Salt – 1 pinch (if using unsalted butter)

Method

1. Pre-heat oven at 190 degree Celsius.

2. Melt chocolate in double boiler but avoid burning. Once it melts add butter into it and turn the

heat off. Add in sugar n combine well.

3. Now beat eggs in a separate bowl for 4-5 minutes and pour into the mixture. Further add vanilla essence and milk.

4. Now fold in gently cocoa powder, salt and flour.

5. Grease a square mould of 8” and pour the batter into it. Now bake it around 30-35 minutes or until the tooth pick comes out clean.

Cool it on a wire rack and then cut into desired shapes. Dust with some icing sugar or you can enjoy it as it is with your evening tea or whenever you want ;) yummm!!!

Enjoy!
